Forbes Designates Perdue Farms “One of U.S. Best Employers for Diversity”


Forbes released a list of companies on January 15th regarded as promoting diversity in their workforce. The list was based on a survey conducted by Statista incorporating 50,000 employees in companies employing at least 1,000.

Kelly Fladger, Vice President of Human Resource Services and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer for Perdue Farms noted “This recognition of our journey towards a more diverse workforce and inclusive workplace is a result of the commitment from our associates and leadership team.” She added “We are proud of our team and celebrate the unique talents and rich backgrounds of our associates that reflect the values and commitments of Perdue.”

Perdue Farms has operated Diversity and Inclusion Councils within complexes and Diversity Days are organized to celebrate languages and cultures among workers. CEO Randy Day affiliated the Company with the CEO Action Forum for Diversity in 2017 and hosted the first Diversity and Inclusion Forum within the company in 2018.
