Subway Establishes Strategic Alliance with Tastemade


Faced with declining profitability, franchisee disaffection and consumer rejection, mainly over slow menu innovation, Subway has announced an alliance with Tastemade. The intention is to increase the range of products and to introduce unique offerings.

The first items from the collaboration comprise the Subway Green Goddess Tuna Melt, Cheesy Garlic Bread and Signature Wraps now available in 3,000 restaurants.

It is intended that the "Inspired by Tastemade" initiative will generate locally-relevant menu offerings to increase the competitiveness of Subway.
